Please meet Thierry Gonzalez Lopez, our new Director of Culinary Operations Thierry brings years of experience working at the highest levels of the hospitality and culinary world.

“Thierry’s passion for old world craft and flavor, coupled with a his grasp of contemporary techniques, is perfect for Gourmet Celebrations,” says Barry Saven, President.

“My passion is serving clients with ultimate respect and integrity,” Thierry says. Over the course of a career spent with some of the world’s marquis luxury brands, Thierry says he’s “learned that when you’re aiming to be the best, the word ‘no’ just doesn‘t exist. It’s up to the team to find creative ways to say ‘yes’ to any request.”

Born in Paris and of French/Spanish heritage, Thierry says “I can‘t name one favorite dish, but two. The authentic flavors of Paella, like my Mom Lola used to make. And the delicate textures and flavors of a classic French cheese plate.”

Thierry’s career has most recently included leadership experience as General Manager with a leading inflight caterer in Los Angeles. Previously, he held executive posts with such luxe brands as Ritz Carlton, Club Med and Il Fornaio, in cities spanning the world.
